First official Thor image!
Gather all ye Norse fans and worshipers of Asgard. Here’s your first official glimpse of Chris Hemsworth as the titular hero from Columbia Pictures “Thor” courtesy of Yahoo! Movies. You’ll have to click the link for the more complete shadowy profile shot, which reveals nothing but costume details and a golden mane that’s filling in nicely.
What more do you want from a first image? Did you honestly expect to see Thor swinging Mjolnir in full thunder god glory? To be honest though, the costume looks pretty comic-faithful yet with the new-age feel all at the same time. If it’s any indication, Kenneth Brannagh’s film should look excellent.
